Every one in five has dandruff. It is not data from the survey but this is what I have found. I am facing the same problem for ten years. Yes!😶
You will think, how I was not able to get rid of annoying dandruff in the last ten years? It is true. I have tried several shampoos, and I am sharing with you what effect I saw after using them.
Head & Shoulders
Whenever dandruff builds up we get only one shampoo name in mind, head & shoulders. As its name is head and shoulder we understand and even they say it is for dandruff. But my experience with this shampoo is just the worst😣 one. My dandruff is very sticky🥺 and it sticks to my scalp like a white layer, it is never powder-like. So when I used head&shoulders it had not even removed a single dandruff patch. All that happened was chalk powder type dandruff spread in my hairs and one more problem raised. So I stopped using this product.❎
Himalaya Anti-dandruff shampoo
This too did the same as head & shoulders, but it has not converted dandruff on the scalp to powder. My mother insisted to use it as Himalaya is a reputed company in medicinal🍀 products. I emptied the shampoo but my dandruff kept on increasing.
L’oreal Anti-dandruff shampoo
So this shampoo was better than the previous two. It removed some of my dandruff patches. But it does not produce much lather hence I was not able to remove oil from my hairs. Also, it is my experience with every shampoo which removes dandruff, that they lead to side effects😤. Some products cure one thing and damage the other.
Pantene Anti-dandruff Shampoo
It made my hair shiny and strong✨, but could not cure my dandruff problems. Though I had hair fall problems after using it.
Sunsilk Anti-dandruff Shampoo
This blue bottle was my favorite💙, in my next blog I will write about Sunsilk perfect straight shampoo review. I noticed some changes in dandruff patches but it could not remove 100% of dandruff even after using one bottle. It caused no side effects.
Tresemme Anti-dandruff shampoo
This shampoo is better than above mentioned. It removes dandruff but temporarily. It is not a perfect solution for dandruff if it builds up again and again.😾
Dove Dandruff care shampoo
This shampoo removes dandruff permanently🙃 for a season if we use it regularly. But my dandruff sticks to the scalp so it could not help me much. But I liked this shampoo as it really works.
Nizral
The best shampoo for dandruff🤩, a doctor recommended this to me. Its smell is very good😋 even after being a medical product. It removed my dandruff in just 2–3 washes and I haven’t seen dandruff again in that winter season.
Patanjali Anti-dandruff shampoo
Removes dandruff (if not sticks on the scalp), I have not encountered hair fall after using it. But I discontinued using it due to unavailability for some time and rumours about Patanjali products that these are not sold original by some people.🙁
Selsun (I still use it)😍
In winters, I change my shampoo to selsun. It is a medical💊 product and my aunt who is a doctor recommended it to me. I was not able to find Nizral in my hometown. And this shampoo helped me in curing my stubborn dandruff. But it smells so bad🤧. It smells so bad that one can relate its smell to that of a chemist shop. And lots of efforts are needed to remove its smell from the washroom, towel, hands and hairs!🛀🧣🤚✋🧖♀️
But trust me, no shampoo can cure dandruff better than this⬆, even Nizral has one side effect, I do not know why but it causes hair greying😬. This was a major reason why I stopped using it even when I found it in the market. So I have used Tresemme conditioner, Wow’s conditioner, sometimes Dove conditioner to remove its smell. Nowadays I am using Khadi naturals🌿 conditioner after shampoo and it removes smell from hairs.
