If you too think that the marketing has become overwhelming in the past few years then both of us have kinda same tastes and temperaments👭.
MBAs in Marketing might get offended by this blog, but it is a matter to discuss. Have you ever seen an irrelevant advertisement while internet surfing?
Yes! those annoying ads are poles apart from our interest. Those shabby, wordy ads which cover even the content are the ones most hated by me.
I will show you some strange advertisements which I saw while searching for notes and other things.🤔
Have you ever thought, why so many social media marketing internships😣? And, why marketing is everywhere nowadays. Marketing was always there, but now due to fast-developing technology, a good market is everywhere on the internet. But why fill the web pages with absurd ads?
Today there are countless ed-tech startups who are racing to get a good number of customers, yes I mean it. There are many startups like MPL, Dream11, cred, etc which are promoting their services and products in the huge market of social media.
The logic of social media marketing is simple when you will purchase things online, why they will send a salesman to your home? Instead, they are promoting their product on social media. Everyone uses social media hence it is a huge and good marketplace to advertise. See Meesho and other affiliate marketing people they are all engaged in marketing. Marketing has become so important that they are advertising in between TV serials📺. They show an episode of hardly 20 minutes, in which they do marketing for 3–4 minutes at least in many episodes. It makes me change the channels immediately.
Youtube ▶ will never let you sit in peace, it keeps playing ads in between till you switch to its premium version. Marketing for money💸, premium memberships for money💸🤑. And we are targeted customers🤕.
Now comes the poor life of salesmen🤐👨💼, it does not begin from knock-knock nowadays, but from hello hello and ends up with hello. Even the people who are in the sales and marketing department hate it. Excessive workloads and an imbalanced lifestyle make them unhappy🙁. Even the pressure from seniors is enough to fluctuate their blood pressure. But the reason is only the wages which are also unexpectedly low.
Let's see how marketing is irrelevant sometimes, it is said and it is true that google keeps track of what you are searching for, I searched for dresses👗 in the month of March and in April what they showed me and where was unexpected.
See the heading, “Most popular C++ programs” and when I click on the ads they take me to a website I have never been to.
Even I saw a shabby advertisement on a spiritual website🛕. That is really shameful, if they can not control the ads then they should immediately stop showing them. I have stopped using that website for any kind of mediation.
Next comes the “Fake facts marketing”

2. EdTech startup Master used a caricature of Tharoor, without his consent, to advertise their offering. “Gift your child Shashi Tharoor’s confidence’😎, the advertisement read. Tharoor has now asked for a public apology and a legally binding commitment to ‘cease and desist such practices’.
There are many on the list, but this is for now…
I am really tired of finding stupid ads everywhere, one ad was so distracting from Ajio that I clicked on it, they showed me a dress which I enlisted on my wishlist. 😝
